Quick to judge

Today I was just browsing around on instagram, like I do almost every free second I have. No joke.

There I came across a well known brand that had a take-over for a day by a blogger from the UK I believe.

First thought that came to mind was: yeah finally not a stick thin model that looks nothing like most of us and shows a more realistic picture of the average customer of that brand.

So before everyone thinks I am bashing thin models, read the whole post before you judge.

Oké back to that picture, I was clicked on the picture for a like and then I saw some of the comments.

One girl said that she would look pretty if she would be 10kg lighter.

Wow.

Why is society so quick to judge when you do not fit the 'mould' ?

I myself am working out and shared a public weight loss.

That is for me more reason why I understand people being happy with themselves instead of trying to something you are not to fit in.

Be comfortable and healthy.

A little bit darker now..

We try to fix something but you can't fix what you can't see

It's the soul that needs the surgery.

What I am trying to say is that lately I feel like we need to be skinnier, taller and so on.

The models in the magazines, the people on tv, everyone around us gets effected.

For example the victoria's secret fashionshow, I love to watch that by the way. But the only thing I heard leading to the event was how the models were starving themselves and working out like crazy to get that body.

Eventhough i get that this is the case before a show like that, but this should not be the norm.

I wish more people would love what they see in the mirror.

You dont have to look like a Victorias secret model to achieve something in life.

I am back

I am finally back on the blog with a new outfitpost.

After my precious camera broke and after running out of outfitpost it has almost been a full month without a new OOTD.

I have seriousley missed the outfit updates so much and am very excited to show you this new look.

Lately I have been going to the gym frequently and I can wear this dress again full of confidence now.

I am not really losing any big weight but I can the inches flying off, so thats why I am wearing all the tight dresses that I can find.

Quality over quality

Today I am trying out something, well new more like old.

My beautifull and amazing camera needs to be fixed and I thought let's do this the way I started, with my iPhone 5.

What do you mean? I can hear you think, well I had al the photo's of this outfitpost taken with my camera.

Ofcourse the quality of the pictures go down but I think of your outfit is sharp and good that shouldn't really matter.

The dungaree part

As a blogger I spend a lot of my free time looking for items of clothing that feel special to me or are just different.

I dont think you have only wear the biggest brand to make a statement.

So lately I am surfing a lot on the web looking for little webshops that still have items that hardly anyone found yet.

This is how I stumbled across a webshop called Style-Loft which has the cutest and sophisticated items you will find.

Like this parental advisory dungaree.

I love dungarees because you can create two different looks, like I showed below.

Dont you just love this amazing arty backdrop?

This piece of art was just around the corner of my house and I didnt even know about this.

Now its not even a issue that I am always wearing black, I will just give the background more colour.

Baroque

As I am typing this I am very excited for the future.

But I will go on about that later, first this post.

I wanted to do this outfit for a while now I know that its a real hate it or love it kind of look but I adore it.

Kind of sophisticated but a little edge with the denim pants underneath.

And then the shoes, normally the higher the better for me but these kittenheels just got to me somehow.

They really work with this outfit.

Black is the new black

I think this is one of my favourite outfit yet and at the same time the location to shoot this.

Even though I am terrified of being so close to open water, I sucked it up and did the shoot.
